Hatha Flow

Flow means movement between poses and Ha-tha means sun and moon. Our Hatha Flow is a class where we balance our yin (moon) and yang ( sun) energy while we synchronize the movement with our breath. Our hatha flow class is focussed on finding stilness in the movement and flow in the stillness. The classical hatha postures flow from one into another with pauses for the right alignment and adjustments. In between there are some dynamic vinyasa flows, where you deepen your strength and stability. Above all, we teach with a lot of focus on breathing and awareness, so we create a vivid but tranquil energy in our body and in our mind.

Strong Flow

Yoga and surfing is a killer combination. While surfing you use a lot of the same muscles as in yoga. Riding a wave may look easy, but in fact it is a major work-out that requires a lot of strength to paddle out, focus to catch the right wave and balance to stay on your board. In our pre-surf yoga class we focus on a strenghtening serie of the arms, upper back, legs and core. We improve your inner and outer awareness with a balancing block and end with a nice and relaxing grounding sequence to dive deeper in your body and the ocean afterwards.

Restorative yoga

Our restorative yoga class is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for a longer periods of times. Restorative yoga works deeper into the connective tissues, allowing our body to release toxins and as a result making your tissues longer and stronger. A class typically involves only around 10 poses supported by props that allow you to completely relax and rest. The poses are held for 2 to 5 minutes and include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. We end the class with a long savasana.
